My name is Inayet Hadi an Afghan-American who is a candidate for the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) degree program at University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center Graduate School of Public Affairs (UCDHSC GSPA).

I found out about the Afghan eQuality Alliances program through a
website that publishes daily updated news concerning Afghanistan. I immediately began to research the proposed program further in order to find out who I need to contact in order to volunteer with this program. I was able to contact Dr. Beebe and Dr. Sain via e-mail and by telephone to express my interest in wanting to volunteer with the Afghan eQuality Alliance program in Kabul. I was happy when I was offered a  Fellowship with the Afghan eQuality Alliance program here in Kabul, Afghanistan.

I came here to Kabul in order to volunteer to contribute to making a
positive difference in a country that has gone through three decades of instability. From the Russian occupation, to internecine warfare, rule by the Taliban, and the current situation of rampant corruption.

While as a Fellow in Kabul, I collected public administration reference materials for the Kabul University Institute of Public Policy and Administration (KU IPPA) various courses, such as Introduction to Public Administration, Human Resource Development in the Public Sector, and Public Policy and Development.

I also had the privilege of working with the first cohort of students
at the KU IPPA. Helping them learn the importance of avoiding
plagiarism, using correct APA in-text citation, as well as creating APA appropriate list of references. As well as helping the first cohort with their research papers, from the importance of creating an outline, to writing a thesis in the introductory section, to describing the fundamental structure of a research paper.

It was a pleasure to have had worked with non-Afghans and Afghans within the Afghan eQuality Alliances program who showed dedication and commitment to the reconstruction and development of an independent Afghanistan . I hope that this experience is the not the end of my contribution to bringing prosperity to Afghanistan, but only the beginning. Thanks for this great opportunity.
